Yesterday at 5:03 in the afternoon we became a family. Six days after her due date, Miss Zoe Rae has arrived, weighing in at seven pounds seven ounces and measuring twenty inches long. It was the hardest and the best thing I have ever done, and I had no idea it was possible to love a stranger with such a fierce, all-consuming love.
